You always expect low prices from Wal-Mart ,® the USA's number one retailer, and their new online DVD rental service does not disappoint. With prices starting as low as $12.97 a month, Wal-Mart has established itself as a low price alternative for renting cheap DVDs online. What surprises most people, however, is how value-packed their offer is.
Wal-Mart provides free shipping via US mail (both ways) just like the other guys (Netflix and Blockbuster).
There are no due dates and no late fees.
And Wal-Mart recently surprised the online DVD rental competition by offering an unprecedented thirty day free trial .
It's true... sign-up through any link here at DVD Direct 4 Less and you get one whole month to "kick the tires" and try the service out. No risk, no obligation. The other major online DVD rental companies offer just a 2 week free trial, so this is a big advantage for Wal-Mart. It's a great way to try the Wal-Mart program out, even if you ultimately decide to go with a different online DVD rental service.

As we mentioned, the other big advantage WalMart has over their competitors is price.
It's no great surprise that walmart.com offers great prices when you buy DVDs online, just like they do in the stores.
But their DVD rental service is also value-priced: pay as little as $12.97 a month to rent DVDs online!
Wal-Mart offers threee different DVD rental price plans:
The Wal-Mart "DVD Double Feature Plan" is $12.97 a month and lets you rent unlimited DVDs, 2 at a time. And this low cost plan is not only cheaper than what Netflix® charges for its "two at a time" plan, Wal-Mart also lets you rent an unlimited number of DVD's for this low price. Netflix limits you to just four DVDs a month.
The Wal-Mart "DVD Standard Plan" is $17.36 monthly and also gives you unlimited DVDs, with 3 allowed out at a time.
Currently, a price war has broken out among online DVD rental companies. Both Netflix® and Blockbuster® recently lowered their prices, The "3 DVD at a time" plan at Netflix is now $17.99 and Blockbuster's similar service is priced at only $14.99. Wal-Mart responded with a price "rollback" of its own. At $17.36, Clearly, Wal-Mart naintains the price advantage for cheap online DVD rental over industry giant, Netflix, even if they are a couple of dollars higher than Blockbuster.
The Wal-Mart "DVD Plus Plan" allows you to rent unlimited DVDs with 4 out at a time for $21.94 a month.
Neither Netflix nor Blockbuster offer plans with 4 DVDs, but each has a 5 DVD plan. Blockbuster charges $27.49 and Netflix is priced at $29.99.

Wal-Mart is by far the biggest seller of DVDs in America, although online sales of DVDs actually represent a very small portion of the overall total, Yet Wal-Mart's "Every Day Low Prices" philosophy works equally well online as it does in their retail stores.
And the cheapest online DVD rental can truly be found at Wal-Mart with their $12.97 "DVD Double Feature" plan, especially when you factor in the ability to rent unlimited DVDs.
So if you're interested in giving DVD rental by mail a try, but want to keep the cost down, then walmart.com is where you'll find the best deal. Why not choose Wal-Mart and rent more DVDs for less?
It all starts with your 30-day no-risk free trial.
